
Steven Wayne Alley, 62, of Indianapolis, born on March 27, 1952, passed away on December 5, 2014 at his home.
Steve graduated from John Marshall High School of Indianapolis and attended Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis. He last worked as a car salesman at Tom Wood Automotive. He was an avid Euchre player at Westside Euchre Club, Indianapolis Euchre Club, as well as Hearts and Diamonds Euchre Club. He also enjoyed golfing and bird watching. He loved and was happiest being surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Stefanski Alley; brother, Howard Alley Jr; daughter, Christine Altier (fiancé Trevor Stephens); son, James Alley; stepson Andrew Stefanski: nephew, Wayne Alley; nieces, Heather(Tim) Smith and Hilary Alley; grandchildren, Mason Altier, Carly Altier, Maddi Stephens; great niece Katelin Smith; and great nephew, Sawyer Smith. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws : Patricia Bardo; Teena (John) Davern and Geri (Tom) Schultz
He was preceded in death by his; parents, Howard Alley Sr and Gertrude Alley; sister-in-law Toni Worman Alley.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all who helped take care of Steve including; Audrey, Sandy, Tina, and Jim from Gentiva Hospice Care, Crystal from First Care, Julie Wubben from Pure Home Health, Pat Bardo for her special help.
Funeral Service will be at 6:30 on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel. 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Visitation starts at 4:30 p.m.
